ABOUT THE JEWELRY
What sort of materials do you use?
Sprout pieces are constructed using primarily sterling silver, as well as brass and copper. Some silver is darkened with a patina for a more industrial effect. Patina will not come off on skin, although it may lighten slightly over time. Stained glass, natural elements, vintage beads, found objects, and gemstones are also incorporated into some pieces as well. Sprout does not currently carry inventory in gold or platinum.
Do you make everything?
Yes, everything is handmade in the Sprout studio.
Can I request a custom order?
Custom orders are available based on the season and the type of piece requested. Custom orders can take up to one month to create, please plan accordingly. Sprout makes custom jewelry perfect for wedding parties, baby showers, and other special occasions. A Sprout piece makes a perfect gift for bridesmaids! Sprout also makes custom pieces for nonprofit organizations. These pieces are an excellent fund raiser. For more information about Sprout Jewelry fund raisers, please contact us.
All pieces are made-to-order. Orders are shipped within 7 business days of receipt of payment (Note: E-checks take a few days to clear.) Rush orders can usually be accommodated; but please check via email BEFORE purchasing.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders are shipped within seven business days of receipt of payment (Note: E-checks take a few days to clear). Rush orders can usually be accommodated, but please contact us to request a rush order before purchasing. If your item seems to be taking an unusually long time to arrive, don't hesitate to email Sprout, even if it's just to "check in" :)
Do you ship to...?
Sprout Jewelry offers worldwide shipping. International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries. All orders sent outside the United States will be shipped using the US Postal Service, via airmail.
Items shipped within the United States are sent via USPS first class mail. Expedited USPS Priority shipping is available upon request.

What is your return policy?
All items are made to order, so returns are generally not accepted, unless:
- Item is not as described
- Item is defective
- ...other extenuating circumstances, on a case by case basis

A NOTE ABOUT CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY
Sprout pieces are made using high quality materials, because we want them to last a long, long time. We tumble many of our pieces to harden the metal, thus helping it to keep its shape even after a lot of wear. We also use wax to seal all our base metals to slow the process of tarnishing.
You can help ensure your jewelry stands up to the test of time by:
- Not wearing it in the shower or the pool
- Not sleeping with it on
- Storing it in the jewelry box it is shipped in
